Onyinye has extensive experience in oil and gas, electricity, corporate finance, capital markets and securities law and practice. She commenced practice at the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode and thereafter joined First Bank of Nigeria Plc (now First Bank of Nigeria Limited). Upon completion of her LL.M programme in 2009, she joined the law firm of G. Elias & Co. where she worked for eight years, with her last four years at the firm as a senior associate and the head of the firm’s banking and finance practice.
Onyinye is recognised in “Who’sWhoLegal” Nigeria (2017 Edition) for her strong expertise in capital markets transactions. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London. She is also a mediator with the Lagos State Multi Door Courthouse. She has published several articles in international journals on commercial and business law, especially in the areas of finance and energy.
